Nowaday almost everybody have email address with them, some do have a few email address. Do you know what they are? If not, you had beeter get them....ALL of them please!

What you need to do is just spend a day or two sit down and go through your address books. Call everybody up and have a small talk. You don't even need to tell them your business. As I mentioned before, most people these dayhave email addresses and you just like to keep them updated in your address book!

Did you ever mention your businesses? No!

After you have collected a healthy list you now have yourself a very powerful email list. Here is the reason. Most people send out advertisement's by email but most never read them... Now, will every person in your family click on the link in your SIG file? Maybe not, but you have now created yourself a very warm email list that you can keep sending information to, and every time your sig file will be attached.

Signature File

Signature files are a very old way to advertise but some people don't really know how to really use them. We realize that many of us use all different types of email programs, and many of them are different but also use the same concept.

Although different software programs, and web-based email services use different formats, setting up an SIG file is similar throughout all Email services. We have covered the 2 most popular services below. Most importantly, you will follow the procedures of how to put these sig files to work and you will see an explosion in your online business. First lets make you a few sig files....follow the steps for whatever email program you are using or would like to use.

For Hotmail user, go directly to 'option' and click on 'mail' and you will see 'personal signature', and there is the right place to look for. Type in your name (of course, your name) following by your business's URL and remember to highlighted them in 'Blue' color. Click 'ok' to save the work. Try to send a 'test' mail to your own mail box, and you would see your signature just below the body of mail message. Get it done?

Now, just forgot about the sig file and sending your email to your friends and family as usual and believe me,

you will have success.

Well, you probably send a package with so much informationinside -- it turns the US postal service from the brink of bankruptcy intoa profit making organization.

Most follow-up packages include a video, a brochure, an audio tape or two,an article from some magazine, product flyers, testimonial letters, a faxon demand number, an order form, several other items you think the prospect"can't do without," and a cover letter -- whew!

You have just employed Gitomer's "reverse law of puking" -- you're pukingon the prospect before they have a chance to puke on you.How much follow up is too much?I say just give them one potato chip worth.What happens when you give someone one potato chip? They want another one.The prospect calls and says, "Hey Jeffrey, got any more potato chips?" --Yes I do -- then I grab them (by the throat)

.If the sale is in the bag -- don't give it all at once. Give them too manypotato chips they lose interest. The prospect will eat what he wants, getfull, and never call you again.Just give one potato chip -- cause you can't eat just one.One potato chip follow up -- it makes the prospect want more.

Here are fourways to employ the Gitomer "One potato chip" follow-up method:

1. Fax half of an article of high interest. Let them call you for the otherhalf.

2. Send a letter with enclosed please find -- and then don't enclose it.

3. Fax a joke on Monday, fax a joke on Tuesday, fax a joke on Wednesday,fax a joke on Thursday -- what's going to happen on Friday if he doesn'tget your fax. He'll start asking where it is.

4. Fax a question on Monday, answer it on Tuesday. Fax a question onWednesday, answer it on Thursday. Fax a question on Friday -- is he goingto be looking for an answer on Monday or not? How it start?

There was a suuny day when a friend of mine told me about BNI. Immediately the next early morning I was invited to the launching of the new chapter-"Laurus Chapter" of BNI at Gurney Hotel, Penang. (Special thanks to Andy Teoh that provide us information)

Eventhough in the very earlyin the morning, around 7am, there were altogether around 80-100 pro-term BNI members and guest started their networking in and outside the conference room. Frankly speaking, this is the first in my life to attend such a "early" meeting. Because BNI's culture to conduct meeting at early in the morning, most of us felt energetic and fresh of the beginning of a day. Furthermore, we, my friend and I and all guests (mostly are business owners) are giving a warm welcome by the members of BNI. This make us feel comfortable.

"Good morning! Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the World's largest and the most successful business referrals organization, Business Network International!" Avryl Au, the National Director of BNI gave her welcome message to everybody.

What is BNI after all?

BNI or Business Network International, claims to be the world's largest networking organization with over 2,100 chapters and 40,000 members in the world. BNI specializes in a program that is designed for business people (include those work from home) to develop long term relationships and to generate business by word-of-mouth marketing. BNI provides a very structured, positive and supportive system to business owners to acquire business by referrals.

BNI is available in 20 countries thoughtout the world and in Malaysia, BNI is now in Penang, KlangValley and Johor. One of their Director, Eddy Chew told me it will soon form up a new chapter in Ipoh too.

Generally, BNI emphasis Business through Referrals, and this way, word-of-mouth marketing are create more advantages to the business owners. This seem to be true for the guests that attend that day. Most of us get referrals business! People want referrals!

Part of their activity is 60-second Intro. Members are trained to give a 1 minute introduce on their own services. Just 60 second! It really a challenge! But they all done it! Yup, only 60 second. Among them, some really giving excellent 60-second intro! I like the concept. Just make me remember an article on how the IBM trained their executives to introduce IBM's business during the time in the lift or escalator with customers. Imagine, how to let people in the rush to understand your nature of business, what you do, what you sell, what is you differences compare with others. Just in 1 minute, because they couldn't give you more than that! Wow! Exciting!

With so many programs on the Internet offering huge incomes and massive downlines, it would be natural to wonder why so many people are still earning very little or no income. Chat rooms, message boards and safelists seem to be full of Ads claiming they can make you rich, or build a big downline for you.

Sadly, many people in the Internet Marketing business never break even or make a profit. Why?
What is the number one thing that keeps people from succeeding on the Internet??

Is it not having enough money to get started? No.
Is it not knowing how to market? No.

The biggest cause for people not succeeding is that they don't truly believe that they can. It is important to take steps that reaffirm your belief in what you do.
